Moves in
all directions
RevOpod is unique in many ways, especially when it comes to its extraordinary vibration control capabilities. It is the outcome of a two-year research project led by world-class engineers and features a number of innovations never before incorporated into an audio footer. Most notably, it combines a novel miniature pot-bearing structure with a traditional spherical bearing approach, resulting in a highly effective isolation system that works in all six degrees of freedom. This versatility allows RevOpods to be used under virtually any audio component.
Precision engineered
RevOpod is an engineering marvel with 35 high-precision manufactured parts complying with rigorous tolerance requirements and surface finish specifications that might otherwise only be found in luxury watchmaking. Every single part undergoes strict quality control - starting from material selection through CNC machining and coating to final assembly, all of which takes place in-house to ensure the final product performs well and looks superb.
Height-adjustable
& linear motion
Unlike many other solutions, RevOpod stays always in full contact with the component it supports regardless of its set height, thus ensuring a perfect structural connection at all times. This is made possible by its proprietary height adjustment mechanism, where the rotation of a grooved outer ring moves an inner element up or down, translating the rotary motion of the ring into a linear vertical movement. This unique approach allows for an ultra-fine adjustment in precise 0.05mm steps, each indicated with an audible click.
Pot-bearing structure
RevOpod is the world's first audio footer employing a novel vibration isolation system featuring a miniaturised pot-bearing design developed by leading researchers from the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research in the UK. The unique design utilises specially formulated elastomer elements, which are confined in a short cylinder and become significantly more compliant under loading, thereby providing effective vibration isolation.
Customisable finishes
All of RevOpod’s structural parts are CNC machined from solid billets of the highest quality stainless steel. Each part is then meticulously polished by hand until a chrome-like mirror finish is achieved. For the coloured versions, an additional Titanium-Nitride (TiN) coating is applied on top of the mirror-polished surface using a tightly controlled high-temperature vacuum environment. This specialised process is commonly used by the most coveted watchmakers and is synonymous with quality and durability.
